Voyant is a market leader in the UK and Canada in financial planning technology, and for good reason. Built on a cutting-edge calculations engine, Voyant's products deepen client-adviser relationships thanks to a dynamic interface and unique value proposition. But, Voyant Adviser, the flagship product is a deprecated technology built on an aging and non-responsive framework. I was brought on to the team with the purpose of designing a modern, scalable web application - AdviserGo.
Because we also work primarily in markets that have very stringent accessibility requirements, our solution also needed to meet WCAG 2.0 standards. I spearheaded the task of adapting all of our web designs to meet AA level standards.

HIGHLIGHTED FEATURE
Report Sets
Surprisingly enough, paper reports are still a major draw for Advisers - in some parts of the world, due to financial regulations. In order to save as many trees as possible, our goal was to make it as easy as possible for our users to create & save report sets - so that they only have to export the pages that they truly need. We also developed multiple single-page overview reports so that advisers don't have to spend all of their time digging through a 90-page document. One button, and all of the important data from the plan is at your fingertips.

Chart details
Accessibility is a very important feature of AdviserGo - so we had to re-think the way users would drill down into the underlying details of our cash flow chart, shown on the dashboard below. This feature improved our existing convention (used in Adviser) by creating a split-screen view for charts and data tables that is both accessible and mobile-friendly.
